My background
My journey behind the lens began in my local community, documenting stories for regional newspapers. That foundation led to a career as a freelance photographer for local, national, and international media, where I specialised in breaking news predominantly covering violent crime and coastal rescues.
Most recently, I served as the Editor of Sussex News. In that role, I coordinated visual and written coverage throughout Sussex, managing a team of up to five photographers and journalists to ensure complex, simultaneous events were covered with accuracy and respect. Throughout my leadership, I remained active in the field, attending incidents daily to gather content firsthand.

My work has taught me, above all else, to appreciate the heroic work the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) does every day. Please consider supporting them [here].
